We are OPEN and here to provide excellent healthcare services for your pet. Social distancing and sanitation continues to be a priority to keep you and our team healthy. We thank you for your patience the last several months as we have worked to care for your pets as efficiently as possible while complying with the mandates in place at the time. We continue to appreciate your patience and understanding through this very difficult time and we look forward to returning to a more personable experience as soon as possible.
Harris Animal Hospital follows the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (VVMA) guidance for COVID-19 cleaning protocol to assure the best protection for our doctors, staff, patients and clients.
Appointments
Curbside Service is available for your pet’s appointment. When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please park in a space that does not have an orange cone and call us from your car at 540-685-0885. Please do not park in the spaces marked B or C. These spaces are used for pickups and discharges. Make sure your dog is leashed and your cat is in a carrier and one of our team members will come to get your pet. We’ll be wearing our masks and request that you do the same.
After your pet is examined, the doctor will call you to discuss treatment options. At the conclusion of the appointment, your pet will be returned to you curbside.
Medication & Food
Please call ahead or use the Request a Refill form on our website. We will notify you when your order is ready and will bring it to your vehicle when you arrive.
Payments
Payments can be handled with the convenient “no-touch” payment portal on our website. We will send you the information needed to complete the payment through the portal once your visit is complete or your medication and food order is ready. You may also give us a call at 540-685-0885 and we will gladly complete the payment process over the phone with you.
Services Offered
We are able to see all appointment types from wellness visits to nail trims to surgeries, including spays and neuters. Pet owners are encouraged to keep pets current on vaccinations and preventatives.
